Great location off periferico without the noise. Excellent staff very willing to go the extra mile. Rooms were just right. Not too luxurious and very comfortable. Best bed in Mexico... Better that Nikko, I an Hilton. Easy slide over to Santa Fe and quick to everywhere. I will stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Rolanda went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Mario served welcome drinks on the rooftop and provided top-notch service to us in the library. Rolanda and Mario - and the entire Stara staff - make this hotel warm and welcoming.

This rating is for the restaurant on the roof, not for the boutique hotel.

The rooftop has great views, but this is pretty much it. Food was OK (nothing memorable), but the service was not: it was slow and the staff confused the orders. Not sure if that was due to the fact we were a rather big group (about 20 people), but I was expecting more.

Nice place, a eco friendly hotel without air conditioning in the rooms, so be ready for a sweaty stay
