The food is not just good, it's great! Portions are huge and the price is more than adécuate for what you get. One of the classic Lebanese restaurants from Mexico City. If you doubt if you should go the answer is a definite yes!!!!

This is the best Lebanese restaurant in Mexico, with a homemade flavor, it's like if I were at my grandma's house and she is cooking for me. It has a wonderful service, everybody is really kind, and they have a fast service and always perfect. Please if you are in downtown is a must.

Currently eating here right now. Really good Lebanese food, service is good, the manager greets you as soon as you get here.
The restaurant is inside the building on the left side you gotta walk to the back and walk up the stairs to get here.
Totally worth it.

I was first introduced to Lebanese food and El Ehden en 1961, and visited it frequently during my 25 years in Mexico. It was near the Zocalo, and I often introduced friends to it. The food is outstanding and prices reasonable. On a recent trip to the DF, went back taking my son and Mexican sis-in-law, who loved it as well. Wish it were closer! How I do miss it.

Good food but the atmosphere and the furnishings are not the best. Prices aren't cheap, you might expect a little bit more for what you're paying.

Good tasty food with very good wait staff.
We had the mixed lebanese appetizer dish, the shish taouk, (marinated chicken breast cubes) and the Kepe charola, which was a nice ground beef with bulgur and spices, both with a side of salad. We were too full for dessert but they have a good selection of traditional middle eastern ones as well more traditional chocolate cake etc. Good spot to walk over after a day around Zocalo. It is upstairs and is reached from stairs in the back of the courtyard.

Very good food, it's a little hidden and it's on an area were you have to be careful, but the food and the pricing is really good, and the place is really pretty on the inside
