authentic homey mexican cuisine, kosher chalav israel, can’t miss it If you are in mexico.

Try their mole (like curry but not like curry at all), its a hit or miss for most people but if you like it this place does it best. Ask for an extra quesadilla or some tortillas to savor it till the last drop.
I particularly like their tamales too, their sweet tamale is as good of a desert as any ice cream could be, their non sweet Varieties are great for appetizers. Take some home too.
They have another location in Tecamachalco and the meal should be anywhere between 6 to 25 usd depending on whether you can stop eating or not.
The dining area, specially in polanco, is very modest and service is average. A bit hidden at the end of the alley, hole in the wall sort of place.

I am personally NOT a fan of Mexican food especially these cesedilla things... Not filling, not very tasty etc. Also you can practicly count the menu on one hand. Although the service is pretty good.
