I absolutely loved my stay at Pug Seal Anatole France!! From the moment I walked in I felt like I was in a Wes Anderson film. The bold colors, contrasting patterns and overall aesthetic of this place makes you feel like you're living a dream life in CDMX. The location is central to all the good vibes and I felt incredibly safe walking around by myself as a young female. The complimentary breakfast and coffee was the perfect start to the day. The staff were so friendly. Could not recommend this place enough!!! This is the only place you should stay when visiting this beautiful city. u003c3 wow. Sarah

Pug Seal is world class, amazing staff, clean, beautiful rooms, romantic, and the serve an amazing breakfast menu. The Hotel offers easy walking access to great restaurants in Polanco, and short trips to the airport.

I stayed at Pug Seal Anatole France for a week in late January 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed every minute there. From the warm and friendly incredibly efficient welcome and continued front desk service from Alfonso, Eduardo and Eynar to the delightful breakfasts in a gorgeous glassed-in conservatory setting looking out onto a beautiful enclosed garden (special mention to the delightful Oscar and Ricardo) to the impeccable attention to detail of the housekeeping staff, everything was very pleasant, secure, perfect. Funky-chic, vibrant Mexico City colors, gorgeous common areas and beautiful roof deck, lots of storage for a long stay, a safe and refrigerator in the room, walking distance to the best restaurants in Polanco (Pujol, Sylvestre, Prosecco, La Unica and Nobu, just to name a few) and best of all, blissfully quiet nights with heavy black-out curtains that promise a great night's sleep. I made specific requests during the week via a connection on WhatsApp and the response was always immediate. I always prefer small boutique hotels to large franchise properties, and Pug Seal Anatole France delivers on every aspect of what makes staying in a boutique hotel special. I can't wait to return.

I had a lovely stay u0026 the staff was amazing. The hotels design really surprised me, the design is beautiful and had a lot of spaces for work. Every morning I would wake up and have a wonderful breakfast in the garden, there's hardly any noise. My stay here was a delight, I highly recommend it.

I travel the world for a living and even I am speechless by the glamour of this beautifully unique boutique hotel. I’ve never seen a hotel as elegant as Pug Seal. I can’t stop taking photos, my Instagram will be happy…

I stayed in the Executive Suite where I watched the sunset and the moon rise from my jacuzzi on my private balcony. I loved my room so much that I cancelled my plans just to enjoy the hotel. u2028u2028As far as location (if you do decide to leave your room), you’re not going to find a better spot than this!!

Pug Seal is walking distance to the Anthropology Museum (which is a must) and walking distance to all the best restaurants and bars (check out Taboo for cocktails). You’re also near Lincoln Park and Antara Fashion Hall.

Best of all, you can afford it. Most hotels with this kind of attention to detail and concierge service is easily twice the price. This place is a steal, but their rooms do book up quickly, so I recommend reserving your stay sooner than later.

I’ll be back and I can’t wait to check out Pug Seals’ other locations!

By far one the worst experiences I had at a hotel. The beds were so small my feet poked out (I'm 1.81 meters tall). The staff was very friendly but failed to let us know there were daily events booked at their patio, that is in the middle of the house, thus making it impossible to rest end enjoy the silence. When asked about the event the front desk staff offered no apologies and just shrugged his shoulders. Even after the check-in and seeing my passport they managed to write my name wrong and call me by the wrong name. The personal hygiene products they have on the bathroom were awful. The toilet is inside a separate room with no ventilation whatsoever so you end up having to open the door to vent it out, making the whole bathroom stink. Breakfast was never ready on time, the coffe and tea machines were unplugged and cold. We ended up cutting our stay short and changed hotels. I would stay away from this place.

Pug Seal Anatole France is boutique hospitality at its finest. The rooms are beautiful, artsy, every one is friendly and lovely. You have to eat all their different dishes on the breakfast menu, they are delicious. We are coming back to Pug Seal, our home away from home!
