In A Nutshell:
-Parque Nacional del Tepeyac is just an okay park located along the outskirts of Mexico City.
-This park shows up a recommended place to hike when you do a search on Google.
-I took an Uber to/from this location.
-It's located in a less traveled area of town, so you won't see tourists, but you will see plenty of locals.
-Go if you want to escape the busyness of CDMX u0026 want to get a good hike in that reward you w/ some nice views of the city.
-Don't go if you are intimidated by being far away u0026 afraid of hiking nearly alone around the loop.
-I didn't measure the hiking trail loop, but I would guess it's at least 3 miles roundtrip.
-There were bathroom facilities that you pay a few pesos, there was also a nice outdoor workout area w/ plenty of pullups bar u0026 other exercise stations.
-I really enjoyed using the pullup bars.
-I also enjoyed that there were not a lot of people using the trails, just a few joggers and a handful of hikers.
-There are plenty of flora u0026 fauna to enjoy if you look closely.
-There is also a very tiny village located within the park that you walk by, some of the people who live there sell food from stalls, but it's a very rural setting.
Overall, this hike satisfied my need of knocking out a good hike w/ nice views u0026 burning some calories w/ a nice sweat u0026 workout at the end at the pullup bar.
