We came to Niddo 3 times during our stay in Mexico City! It was the most amazing brunch place, ever! Everything we had was amazing but HIGHLY RECOMMEND the blueberry scone and breakfast sandwich! Delicious! Must visit!

One of my favorite breakfast spots when I'm in Mexico City. Niddo never disappoints. Love the salmon bagel with a side of bacon. Enjoyed breakfast today with family, a group of 6, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Excellent service too. Tables are a bit small, but as soon as another was available they offered another for comfort. Look forward to coming here each time. A cookie to go is a must. :)

Come to eat delicious pancakes BUT go somewhere else for your main dish.

My original review for Niddo was written at the beginning of 2021. Since then I’ve dined here a handful of times, and I’ve come to the conclusion that Niddo has lost its edge. After today’s breakfast, I probably won’t come back unless someone visiting the city wants to check out this over-hyped trendy spot.

My only three recommendations:
1. Obviously the pancakes
2. Golden Milk
3. Americano

Kinda recommended:
1. Shakshouka. Just a delicious soup sauce with with no crunch texture. The bread that accompanies the dish is nowhere near enough.

NOT recommended:
1. Croque Pepe. Felt like I was eating tasteless white bread, with almost tasteless cheese, egg and gravy. Choose ANY other entree.

The Good:
+ Picturesque outdoor dining area at the main location and at the satellite location down the street.
+ Aesthetically pleasing food and drink — modern meets rustic.
+ Front of house are professionals at getting people seated.
+ Niddo’s famous pancakes are amazing, fluffy, packed full of flavor and the crème fraîche is the perfect complement.

The Okay:
+ Sometimes the center of the pancakes are undercooked. Personally, I don’t mind it but I know my girlfriend hates it.
+ Long wait times on the weekend.

The Bad:
+ The entrees lack defining flavor profiles. They look great in photos — however the taste is slightly above average just not in line with the prices or visual expectations.
+ Today: Moldy raspberry topping on our pancakes.
+ In terms of quality, portions, and service: Overpriced.
+ Today: Waiter service is flakey. Our waiter completely forgot about our entrees and we had to wait an extra 25 minutes for it to arrive. Also forgot refills for water after requesting.

Bottom-line: There are way too many great restaurants in this area for Niddo to be THIS over-confident and unfortunately lackluster.

Nice place, the service makes it totally worth it! Very friendly people. The waiting system is pretty convenient since send you a text. That's pretty nice. They have brunch/breakfast the whole day, so that's cool too as in Mexico City every brunch menu closes at 13hrs. I ordered Shakshouka. I'd give it a 3.5 rating overall. For my taste a bit too salty and sadly not spicy at all. The coffee was a bit too bland too. Bread was fine and the eggs were good :) Portions are pretty big too.

Update: I've also had the falafel salad, very good. A solid 4 and the tea is also good. The mac u0026 cheese Is also very good; creamy.

The service here was exceptional as well as the food. The design of the restaurant was extremely beautiful and very advanced. I’m the type of person that likes to enjoy my environment while eating good food, and this met my expectations. The food was AMAZING!!! Anything off the menu will be a spectacular taste. Definitely a spot you need to try out upon visiting CDMX.

Great taste from the different dishes. The pancakes are huge and fluffy, also they have a changing seasonal version. The service is good, but not great, still somewhat on the pricy side for a breakfast.

Always a delicious and satisfying meal at Niddo! I’ve had all their pancake options and can’t pick a favourite because they’re all so freaking delicious. The breakfast muffin is also one of my go-to orders. The bread is like a cross muffin scone texture with perfectly done eggs and juicy sausage patty… it’s so addictive! Even when I’m stuffed, I’ll force myself to finish because it’s THAT good! The only thing is if you like ketchup with your eggs and sandwich, they don’t have it so bring your own ???? Niddo is a very popular place and will have a big lineup on weekends and if you can’t avoid the wait just know that it is well worth it !!!
