So I think this is a small independent collection but whoever runs it is an absolute wizard!!! Even though a lot of the toys are not the kind of thing I personally go for I still found the Collections great and of course there was plenty that was for me. Well thought out and pieces together with some great art. DONT HESITATE-ABSOLUTE MUST!!!

One of my favorite places em Mexico City. Spent 4hours looking thru every single detail. The Barbie collection was amazing as well as the Mexico 68 part. It was very empty and they have a store by the end of the journey. Amazing!

We were recommended this museum by a friend and so glad we stopped by! Talked with the owner Kinoshita upon arrival and he told us some amazing history about his collection (half of it isn’t even displayed at the museum!). Super rare collections of toys that brought me back to childhood. Kinoshita is very thoughtful - he even checked in on us at the end of our visit. This place is a must - so rare and beautiful! Make sure you go up to the roof!

Probably the best museum ever. Filled to the brim with cool old toys u0026 excellent graffiti. And lots of it is for sale. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

One of my favorite museums!

A huge collection of toys, objects, artefacts from the past.

If you’re a fan of pop culture, JUST GO!

This Museum of Antique Toys has a very modest exterior and I almost skipped it because of that, but am very glad I did not. There is also parking for free on the premises. If you are into toys, this place is an absolute must-see, holding over 20,000 playthings from the 1900’s to the 1980’s and spanning four floors. The inside is like a maze which is quite confusing and seemingly disorganized with the Barbie section, the Lucha Libre section, the books, all kinds, it is incredible and I actually spent an hour in there, that’s how interesting it was. I subtracted a star because there were several areas with poor lighting, they should invest in LED lighting. The toys came from a Mexican-born Japanese architect who started collecting when he was 10 years of age. It also sells vintage toys if you want to start a collection of your own, and I saw several antique Kodak Instamatic cameras for sale.

This is a fun museum with a historical and modern toy flavor. With 3 or 4 floors of toys, it is a bit overwhelming but we'll worth. The building is art in itself. This is one of my favorite museums, along with a a smell and button museum.
