You can get a huge, typical lunch, and drink for $3 usd. Make sure to check out the murals too. Some locals stopped us to ask why we were taking pictures of them, and fortunately, after readimg other reviews, we were able to tell them that they were murals by students of Diego Rivera!

You can find pretty much anything at really good prices, the food the is abundant and inexpensive.

One of the oldest markets in the city, with murals from Diego Rivera and his students, like Pablo O'Higgins, some really delicious food available at every corner.

Incredible murals by Diego Riveras students under his direction! You have to search them out, they are near most of the entrances and upstairs as well. Some of the best murals in Mexico City in my opinion.

A bit of Mexico's surrealists corners. A marketplace decorated with a handful of murals finished in the mid 30's. A complete hidden jewel.

Crowded most of the time but you will find good quesadillas and gorditas ( mexican food)
