The atmosphere is typical and the people are nice. Try your luck at thr restaurants inside. We ate good but they tried to charge us more when we paid.

Don't be a tourist, this is the real Xochimilco. Good affordable food as native lives pass you by.

Great market, with produce from the local area. Had some great tlacoyos, carnitas, cecina natural, tamales.
