We are staying here for only a few days before we move on to a wedding elsewhere. The location is fantastic, there are several parks and lovely boutiques nearby. Staff are friendly and speak English as well. The morning breakfast has been delicious, filling but light. Honestly I wish we were staying longer, but I cannot wait to return! Rooms are well-kept, clean, modern. We opted for the in-suite sauna room. Amazing. The restaurant downstairs serves great drinks and great food. I got a seasonal drink with prickly pear and it was refreshing. The food was plentiful and amazing. And again, the staff are all just so lovely they really make this an amazing spot to be.

This was our first time to Mexico City and after doing extensive research on where to stay, I decided on Maria Condesa. I booked it through a third party website through my employer. From the beginning, the staff at Maria Condesa was very responsive to my emails and questions. When we checked in, Maribel was super welcoming and made the check in process quick. We did have one issue which was the slow Wifi but that was fixed on the last night we were there. Overall, the room is spacious, bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I'd highly recommend this hotel! We also enjoyed the complimentary beer and water in the mini fridge, along with the breakfast on the rooftop. Excellent hospitality! If you stay here, definitely get a drink at the hotel bar. Luis is super funny and nice.

I am writing this in August of 2022. I was staying at this hotel in March 2020, and had to pre-purchase ten days at the hotel. Well during my stay there, the pandemic happened. On Tuesday, March 17th, we were told by the US Consulate that it is in our best interests to return to America. I explained this to the hotel, who assured me that our remaining 5 days would be safe and could be used in the future.

Fast forward to July 2022, two years later, my fiancee and I were finally able to return safely to Mexico City, and arranged a flight in October. I contacted the hotel and reminded them of the arrangement and promise from the manager. We should have known, but the hotel had no recollection of this, and claimed they had new management, and nothing about this on file. I even have a receipt of my stay there (and still do, including booking and reference numbers, and this is THEIR E-MAIL SENT TO ME FROM THEIR ACCOUNT) , but the hotel asked me to give the full credit card used at the time (which has since been discontinued and the credit card company only keeps records going back two years). The hotel has not been willing to work with me in any way, shape, or form.

We enjoyed our stay there, the breakfast was amazing, and the way the staff treated us was great. But it really is disgusting to take advantage of two Americans who did exactly what the consulate told us to do during a worldwide pandemic

In A Nutshell:

-Hotel Maria Condesa is a fantastic boutique hotel in the perfect location in La Condesa.
-The check in was easy u0026 the people who work there are very nice, especially Marbeth.
-I enjoyed the free breakfast on the rooftop restaurant.
-The room was pretty spacious, I like how the bathroom is down a small hallway near the door away from the bed in it's own little nook.
-The shower was a rain shower u0026 that always feels good.
-The fridge was fully stocked w/ water, juices u0026 beer, which were all free u0026 restocked daily.
-The windows open all the way u0026 they are the original Craftsman type windows w/ latch.
-There is also a restaurant/bar downstairs next to the reception, but I never had a chance to eat there, but plenty of people did while sitting outside along the sidewalk.
-The area is very, very quiet w/ two barbershops close by along w/ a drycleaning/laundry shop u0026 a Indian restaurant across the street.
-There were a couple convenience stores u0026 a bank to exchange money not too far way.
-This place is walkable to all sorts of parks u0026 restaurants.

Overall, this was an excellent hotel in the perfect location. Uber's and shuttles had no issue finding this spot.

I've stayed at a few hotels in Mexico City, and this is by far my favorite from a price-to-value standpoint. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are clean. And the location is A+. While some other boutique hotels may have fancier rooms or nicer decor, Maria Condesa provides the best service. Free breakfast every morning (and they'll even bring it to your room if you ask). The load your fridge with free beers and waters every day. And the mezcal bar downstairs is fantastic. Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at Maria Condesa from 09/15-09/20. Immediately, we were greeted by the most helpful and friendly staff, specifically Elizabeth at reception and Lalo at the hotel bar. We had a few last-minute changes and needed to extend the duration of our stay. Elizabeth was very accomodating and made our entire stay extremely pleasant. The rooms are modern, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to countless cafes, restaurants and bars. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Mexico City again!
