Worth visiting for the French toast alone, which is super decadent, savory and sweet. The carnitas tacos were excellent, tender yet firm and very flavorful, beautifully complemented by the homemade tortillas.

I just discovered Marcelino and I'm not sure how I had survived until now without knowing this place. We arrived around 11, on a Sunday, hoping for the best when looking for a table. We only had to wait for 5 mins. The hostess was super nice and knew the menu very well. I tried the chocolate concha and it is one of the best I have ever tried in Mexico City. Moreover, once the hostess learned about my love for tuna tostadas, she strongly suggested that I tried theirs, and promised I wouldn't be disappointed. I wasn't. Also one of the best in the City. My friends tried some sort of eggs benedict, with perfectly seasoned sauce, and also the french toast. I'm still craving for more of it.

Excellent service. The bread is amazing but the food lacks a bit of taste. Carefully executed. Great place for brunch

Excellent breakfast/lunch. Everything we have ordered here is great. I highly recommend the tortilla soup.

We had breakfast two days in a row and will be going back tomorrow. Everything we ordered was delicious including the coffee. The food came quickly and our waiter, Ismail, was very courteous. He helped us with our Spanish and we helped him with English. Clean comfortable and moderate prices

Their coffee is all espresso based, and very good. I prefer latte over Americanos and
Nancy got a great chai. Plus they had more hot drink choices.
Our food was very good also; eggs a variety of ways are offered, and Nancy’s great French Toast. The ambience is exceptional, with a good wait staff, and vibe.

The food was four stars, but the service just wasn't. When I got to Marcelino I asked for a glass of water. Ten minutes later when I ordered I again asked for a glass of water. Then after I had finished my meal I again asked for a glass of water. The waiter finally brought one out, but it had concerning things swirling around in it. A disappointing smear on an otherwise tasty meal.
