It's an experience. You'll be given a number when you arrive. On a Sunday I arrived at 4.05 pm, and I had to wait outside in a queue until I was seated at 6.20 pm. You can grab a drink from the restaurant whilst you wait outside. Prices are very reasonable.

Was it worth the wait, no; is it worth the experience, maybe.

Also, they seem to have enough custom from locals that they don't seem to need any attention from tourists - one of the only places in cdmx that I didn't feel welcome.

Mexican beans!! Tamales u0026 chips with spicy delicious meal!!.. don't forget teasty "orejas de elefante" great place to eat...

The food its bomb but they make a mistake whit the order and take to many time to get some food.

Great Tamales!!! You get 3 big tamales with chicken, with melting cheese on top, swimming in green salsa. Great meal. Costs about 120 pesos. Highly reccomend

Delicious u0026 big milanesas (chicken or beef) takes time to get them but it's worth it. My family u0026 I took them to go. They also sell tamales but I didn't eat any. I guess they must be as good as the milanesas.
