A must to go in the Alamo's neighborhood of Mexico City. The hamburgers are extremely good in taste, presentation (specially the one that has plantains) and price. The place has also crafty stuff like sweet-spicy sauce (made out of habanero and maracuya) or purple cabbage salad. Definitely 5 stars.

Stumbled upon this gem recently, and pretty sure it will be a regular meal now. Seems like a beautiful family affair. Great ingredients, made with a lot of care (you will actually witness your food being cooked with love). The service and conversations are homey. It's very hard to find a perfectly cooked patty but Lonchera does it the best in the city. The potato wedges and maracuya habanero sauce are also delish.

Straight up deserves the highest rating possible I'd give this place six stars. We've been here five times now and it's always been amazing. Best Venezuelan food I've ever had. In Mexico and outside of Mexico. The best service you can get accompanied by the most delicious food. This place made me love fried plantains something I've never liked. Get there on the weekends to try their seared tuna. Incredible!! I will not go to Mexico without going here. It is an absolute must stop for anyone that eats food. Best part its dog friendly so bring the pup

Everything about La Lonchera is outstanding and one-of-a-kind.

My partner and I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner who not only fed us the greatest burgers of our lives but also gave us solid recommendations for a nearby bakery and cafe in the area that we were staying in (both of which we were amazing thank you, Bernardo!)

We shared an entree of fries and Tamborera alongside the Moza and Paseando por Roma burgers. All of which were remarkable.

Also, their selection of beers is very diverse and tasty. We tried two unique beers from small breweries that paired with our meal like butter on toast :)

The flavours are incredible, the service is fantastic, and the ambience is beyond belief (so many cute dogs).

I have nothing but compliments for the wonderful team at La Lonchera. We’re truly devastated that we won’t be able to have this when we return to Canada. I’ll be dreaming of the food for the rest of my life.

It is absolutely worth the visit if you’re in Mexico City!

Absolutely amazing fresh handmade burgers. The burgers were made right before our eyes and topped with delicious ingredients including piles of fresh mozzarella. As good as the burgers were the thick cut fries might have been better with an amazing sauce topping them.

The owner was super friendly and spoke some English (big help to us Spanish challenged folks).

Probably the best burgers restaurant in the area, the food is really good and the service excellent. Highly recommended!

This burger was amazing! I chose the La Moza and really enjoyed it. Added some of the Habanero with Passion fruit for some extra spice, and the patas with it were so delicious as well! (The menu on Google maps has somewhat outdated prices, but still a good price for what you will certainly enjoy eating).
