Came here as our first stop on a food tour and had the garlic tostadas and vulcan with steak - both were simply food heaven! Highly recommended if visiting CDMX

I still dream about the garlic tostadas. Basically the greatest thing I’ve ever eaten in my life.

This is one of a kind Taco places, they have this welcome kit with crunchy toast with two possible sauces... so if your are hungry don't worry there is something delicious to eat since the first moment. They have plenty of very well prepared combinations... definitely ask everything with cheese, however I would say the stamp of the house is the Chile Suizo con arrachera... that one is quite Mexican and unique... ask for the Volcanes version of it... and enjoy. Red sauce... the best... just forget about the rest.

Ordered alambre and costilla here. Alambre was passable, costilla was poor. Comes with basic condiments and tostadas. Service was below average.

Delicious Tostada's! Some of the best I've ever had.

We used to be huge fans of La Costilla for a few years, even through the peak of the pandemic last year as they were one of the few decent taco joints to remain open for pickup in our area.

Sadly, their quality, size of portions and delivery times have all but declined in the past several months. Tonight was the worst, with a delivery time of over one hour (when it usually takes them less than 25 minutes to deliver), we ordered Tacos de Bistek (advertised as including three tacos) and only got two tacos. The meat was dry, bland (barely any of the Original garlic/oil/spice seasoning perceptible), way overcooked and this has been the same for the last few times we've ordered it. It used to be perfect before, no idea what happened.

Long story short, they need to up their game to get back to be what we used to love.

Échenle ganas.

Came here with Eat Mexico, and had the garlic tostada and a vulcan with chicken and poblano peppers. Both were delicious, but the garlic tostadas were amazing. Simple and so damned tasty. I'd come here just for those. The people were kind and the charcoal grill made everything super flavorful.
