We had the squid torta and the milanesa torta. The squid one was quite salty so we had to ask for limes. Croquetas weren't very good. Sangria was lovely. Check your bills as we were charged 120 for one beer!

This was the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat after visiting the Frida Museum. Service was very friendly and there were multiple hand washing and sanitizing stations. Plexiglass partitions separated tables inside and outside dining was also available. The food was Delicious! The tortas were so large we each took half home for breakfast the next morning. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

Place is small, I think there are only 6 tables
We got the octopus, tuna, croquettes and sangria (many of them!)
Service is great!
Food is amazing! You must try the octopus!
Forgot to take pic of octopus but I suggest you to go an try it! You won't regret it!

I have mixed reviews on the food because the chicken wings and fried shrimp were fantastic, but the torta which is what they were supposed to be known for, was just ok.
I was a bit surprised that instead of a faucet to wash my hands there was a pot full of water with an empty plastic container to wash my hands, which is the reason for my 3 star review.
Staff was attentive and expedient.

You will want to eat all of the tapas, enjoy all of the craft beer, and enjoy the tortas. The space is open and clean, the service was informative and fast, and the food was fresh and tasty.
La Barraca is near some of the most fun parks in Mexico City and a short walk from Frida Kahlo’s house, you should definitely stop in.

Had one of my best meals so far here. Excellent service, cozy environment and great staff. Also very good house wine.

Solid Spanish food. If you want a quick fix for tapas, tortas, or grilled octopus check this place out. My grilled octopus in the photo was really good. Good prices as well.
