I stayed at this hotel last Monday, August 1 after a forced stay at the Mexico City airport. We checked in for one night. The room was fine. Way overpriced and outdated for U.S. standards, but fine for a night. But this review isn't about the room, it's about the customer service. Or shall I say lack there of.
I accidentally left my pink toiletry bag in the room behind in a rush to catch our flight. I called to speak with lost u0026 found and got tossed around from person to person asking to speak to someone who remotely understood English, and eventually just got hung up. I called back later in the day, and I encountered the same issue. I then emailed -- a few times! -- with no response.
There are plenty of valuables in that bag that I don't know if I'll ever recover now. I'm devastated. I don't remember a worse customer experience with a hotel. There was just no one will to show me any hospitality, just because my Spanish isn't perfect? And as a hotel in an international hotel in one of the largest cities in the world (not to mention, neighbors to the U.S.) you would think that someone on staff would be able to help me out with communication. But no-one sadly did.
Be warned if you stay there that you don't leave anything accidentally behind!
