Hmmm, almost excellent: great location, comfortable, good product for it price. Just some "angry" faces from some of the staff, but the most of them gently and helpful. 4.5/5 stars

If I could give 0 stars I would. OMG horrible service, horrible place.
Staff doesn’t care about their guests and their needs. I’ve been here for a couple of days and have not changed hotels because I already have a schedule that I must keep otherwise I would’ve move hotels. I’m not going to list my grievances here but I will find a corporate number and hopefully talk to a manager regarding my issues because so far they are not cared for onsite.

This hotel is right in the heart of the city, everything from shopping, sightseeing, restaurants and bars are just around the corner. Best place to stay if you are in Mexico City for a short stay.

I stayed at this hotel many times while living in Mexico, and I always stay there when I return. It's not a fancy hotel but it has everything I need to be comfortable. It's quiet in the rooms. It's perfectly located in Centro, near a metro station, and an easy walk to everything. It's inexpensive. It's clean. The restaurant (breakfast) is good and cheap. Some have said the staff are rude. I say they're very professional and, unless you need them, they leave you alone. I suggest you call ahead because this gem of a hotel is in high demand. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located very close to the Zocalo and Pino Suarez subway station, which was one reason we chose it in the first place. The rooms have everything you'd expect from a hotel of that price range, but they have certainly seen better days. Beds were a bit too soft for me, so this might be something to bear in mind.
Where this experience fell apart was really the service and the breakfast. First of all we had booked through booking.com including breakfast, but were told the first morning that breakfast was in fact not included, so we ended up paying for breakfast, which is quite affordable anyway. However, when we got there we were told that our three year old would have to pay a la carte - fine. We ordered her some cereal, which came promptly, but we were then informed that they did not have milk. What hotel does not serve milk with cereal? Staff was really quite rude and would not offer a solution to this problem, so we had to pay for cereal that our daughter could not enjoy. The next day we had the same situation, but noticed that they had chocolate milk in a fridge, so requested that instead, which of course had to be paid for as well. Every day again we had to bring our receipt for the breakfast as well. Why can't they see that we paid based on the room numbers?
The whole breakfast interaction was painful and the most unpleasant I've ever seen anywhere in the world. It made us feel as if we were a burden on the staff and they weren't happy to be there at all.
If we choose to stay here again, we'll take breakfast somewhere else, where our presence is appreciated.

4.5 stars. Excellent value. I stayed there 10 days.
The restaurant wasn't drowning in ambience but the food was good and fairly priced.
My number one criticism is that they should use less of their soap or disinfectant in the cleaning solution used in the rooms. I always had to keep a window open and run the insuite fan to air it out.
It's centrally located near the Pino Suarez metro stop. Lots to like about this place.
