Safe clean and reasonable. They were one of the only hotels to honor our booking because we arrived so late. Breakfast buffet in the lobby... Parking is not free

This a good hotel, the staff is always so helpful and caring. The rooms clean and excellent. Just a thing: they told me by phone that the taxi service for 5km from hotel will be "free service" but it turned it wasn't true. And I don't mind to pay for a service, in fact I am very satisfied with this service, the taxi drivers are a gentleman, but at the hotel the info about the service isn't accurate. So, they should be careful about it. Anyways, I really like this place. Thanks for the excellent service.

The hotel is old, rooms are big but old, air-condition didn't worked fornfull day and the food, so bad, i tried many dishes, none was good.

Holiday Inn Plaza Universidad is a great option for staying in Mexico City. It's next to two malls, as well as Walmart. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance, ranging from local flavors such as Sanborns to American fare such as Olive Garden and PF Chang's.

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and room service is reliable and quick. I've stayed here multiple times while visiting family and I've never had a problem at all. If you're looking for a clean, safe, conveniently located and enjoyable experience, I recommend this property.

+ The staff was pleasant and the food in the restaurant was good.

- There was no hot water in the shower for two days [I reported it on the first day] and the air conditioner was so loud [also reported on the first day] that it was not useable.

The lack of execution and follow-up on basic hotel services was more than a little disappointing.

My family of 4 love this hotel. The location is fantastic bakeries, metro, restaurants, market and malls all 8n easy walking distance. All of Coyocan a longer walk or short taxi ride away. The green line metro just a few blocks away will tske you to the heart of the historic district. The staff exceeded ny expectations, even my 11 old commented on how friendly and helpful they were. My only criticism would be the frosted wall bathrooms, weren't ideal for a family. 5he shower pressue was pretty weak. But these are minor inconveniences.

We look foward to staying here next time we're in Mexico City.

Hotel room is very spacious. We had breakfast and everyone enjoyed the food although what was on the buffet seemed old and dry the server automatically noticed and had fresh items ordered for us. I appreciate that someone was there to serve us rather than people themselves in order to keep everyone safe. Thank you for having a good working A/C!
The only thing that was an inconvenience was that at check in I was not given an option to leave my credit card for incidentals. I booked with points and was told I needed to pay in person if I consumed anything from the restaurant. It’s also my fault for not asking but I had arrived very late and just wanted my room keys, other than that stay was great! I wish I had stayed here longer! I love IHG!
