Came to Mexico City for the first time and have been here for 5 days. Each night we tried to eat at the top rated restaurants. Gardela was by far the best one. Great ambiance. High quality food that tasted amazing. Great presentation and we couldn’t have figured out what to order if it wasn’t for our waiter, Abraham. Abraham’s explanations of the food were thorough, and we ordered everything he recommended and couldn’t be happier. He was also very attentive and brought us what we needed before we even realized we needed it! We’ll be back next time we are in Mexico City.

Exquisite Dining Experience

First of all we'd like to thank you staff for making us feel welcomed. Now for starter we had the dry aged beef capacious which was incredible. Hands down the best carpaccio I have had. Now the main course was the porterhouse steak which they cut in front of us then placed on a sizzling plate. The best part of the presentation was the pouring of melted butter sizzling. In short do try this place.

Best restaurant in mexico city!
We had so much fun
The staff was so nice, Abraham was amazing, he explained us about the meats they have and recommended us what to order and everything we ate was AMAZING!
The manager who also was really nice wanted to give us a desert but sadly we couldnt handle any more of this delicious food.
Highly recommended! :)

We really loved the food here. The staff was really nice and accommodating. We're from America, so the staff was great at helping us translate the menu/give us suggestions on English. I loved the kale salad and the Argentinian steak. Highly recommend

I've not had restaurant steak as good as this place in a long long time. I've had steaks at John Howie, el gaucho, Daniel's boiler, Fogo de çhao etc. and I find them under whelming when compared to steaks that I make at home. I happen to have access to great butchers where I live so I can make great steaks at home. Gardela's steak exceeds my expectation in service and food quality.

If you come here, you should ask Abraham to educate you on the steaks' supply chain and what to look for. Also ask for Carlos, who is the friendliest server.
