Gorgeous property with a few flaws… first off, enjoyed my stay overall, including the breakfast until 11am and the views….

Few odd things -

Elevators - to enter the Fairfield, you have to go through two sets of elevators. Kinda convoluted how the Fairfield and courtyard elevator maze is set up

Thermostat- no matter what buttons I would press, it wouldn’t change the mode, temperature, fan speed. Was pretty much a prop.

Cleaning - cleaning lady on my floor was nice but overworked maybe. She was in charge of the whole floor, so she didn’t clean my room until 5pm and still had more after me. She looked super busy.

Ok so to hey had told me 1500 when I arrived they wanted 2000. I could hardly understand the English of the counter person. She decided to act like she should not let me stay. I wanted to get away from the dogs barking in the neighborhood. So they took the 2000 the soap area was poorly cleaned and I have seen better motel 6 in n the USA. The food is good but I am not a mouse on a diet and price is for millionaires. Their deserts stink. So second time I stayed there.restaurant employees decided to be rude to me as is typical of Mexico. The TV remote did not work. I asked them 3 times to give me a correct one which they replied it works. So I decided to give them some work and turned everything upside down and disconnected everything. I wonder why they are always booked now could be the poor quality of their behaviour and not admitting guilt also I am no longer a Mormon due to their bad behaviour and they have their Bible in the rooms

Good location of the hotel, it has a direct access to the the Mall using the hotel elevator, so you don't need to go outside looking for something to eat or dinner. The breakfast is not so good, but it is included on the room rate, so it is acceptable.

This place is just okay. It has all the makings of a good hotel but misses on a bunch of things.

My family stayed in four rooms here over four nights. Three of the rooms had air conditioning problems - the air conditioning turns off and back on by itself. The fan keeps running, but the little snowflakes symbol turns off. The "mode" button doesn't work. I'm not sure if this is centrally controlled in order to save energy, but it is very frustrating. Many rooms have the AC set to 10°C which is probably intended to maximize the cooling whilst the AC is actually on.

We had keys stop working at least 3 times. It may be the case that when a new key is added all others stop working (and need to be reset), but staff didn't seem to know. We were also told that we must have stored keys too close to cell phones - not a real thing - but even when deliberately avoiding this keys would still stop.

The breakfast was quite good one day, but the other days was completely cold. Then they bring new "hot" scrambled eggs and just mix them in with the cold.

We booked adjoining rooms - as always we were told that nothing can be guaranteed, etc so we specifically called to ask whether it could be confirmed, and were told that yes, they could arrange adjoining rooms for us. Of course upon check-in those rooms were not adjoining.

The bathrooms have the usual "save the Earth, save water, reuse towels" information, but there's only one small peg on which to hang a towel. Only one towel could fit there, and it wouldn't dry. I'd happily save water and reuse towels, but they are not making it easy for me.

Beds are pretty good. Rooms are modern. It's not cheap by Mexico City standards, but is nicer than many. Just get the little things right.

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at, and I am a professional performer who has traveled all over the US and Europe, and now Mexico. Superb staff, the best breakfast I've ever eaten, perfect clean room with ideal beds, and a breathtaking view of Mexico City! A delightful shopping mall attached, a good laundry room, fabulous strong coffee available 24/7 in the lobby - it was perfect in every way. Even the taxi drivers that the hotel supplied were splendid and helpful. This hotel made our trip the great vacation that it was!

This hotel staff has provides the best guest service - period. They, alone, made the stay worthwhile. The noise from the street is noticeable and so is the stepping on the floors upstairs from the lobby (we were on the 4th floor - the floor beneath the lobby) but the receptionists were all kind and helpful. Proximity to shopping center, secure location and amenities (you can wash/dry your clothes for about 6 dollars and you can work out at the gym) are all worthwhile.
