Really lovey, colorful, way to spend an hour or two. You can do lots of prep, and have a full family boat picnic…but you can also just arrive with nothing and get some drinks and food on the boat. It definitely gets crowded on a Sunday, when we went, making it a bit harder for the boats to get around…but it also makes it kinda fun seeing all the different groups having very different adventures on their different boats

Must do when you are around Mexico City. Parking is about 30 pesos. The 1 hour gondola starts at 500 but I got it down to 400 pesos. If you have a big group this is a great spot to party. Bring your food and drinks and 1 gondola takes about 16 people for the same price. Michelada vendors and food vendors on the water.

Great place to rent a boat for 500 pesos. Load up as many friends as you can. Bring mariachis. Drinks. And your favorite foods. And enjoy the afternoon!

We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was extremely crowded, try to instead visit on a week night. The food on board was fine, it comes out quickly from a gondola that stopped next to us. Drinks, candy, souvenirs and even mariachi bands all traveling on boats looking for customers. My teen daughters thought it was too busy and crowded and prefer not to ride again but my husband and I didn't mind drinks and food while watching world row by. Try it at least once. ????????

Took one hour tour and enjoyed the experience. The boats are colorful and nice ride. Mariachi one song will cost 150 pesos, but worth the experience.

Beautiful experience went during the week there were not very many people there. The whole experience was great. We went on a tour through viator which took us to xochilmilco, coyocan, the estadio, and the blue house. Xochilmilco was the best part! Mariachis come and play on your boat for 150 pesos a song. Food was good you have a variety to choose from. It was around $12 USD for tacos, tostadas, and rice. Drinks were around 200 pesos. Micheladas are sizeable. Beers are 30 pesos. There also several boats that pass by selling elotes and other things. THERE ARE BATHROOMS BUT YOU MUST PAY FOR THEM AND THEY ONLY ACCEPT PESOS. The vendors do accept USD but it is better to have correct Mexican Pesos as it is cheaper.

Bae and i’s monthiversary today. We went to Xochimilco it was beautiful! We negotiated our ride on the little bots. We completed the 2 hr tour. As we were touring the lake, vendors sold their items via their boats. You had food vendors, gift vendors, and even music with mariachis dominating the lake. We enjoyed the mariachis playing for us and dancing on the boats. We were the only two people sitting in a boat of 15-18. We recommend taking a group of people and dividing up the cost it'll make it more economical! We enjoyed ourselves overall. Its a must experience if you travel to Xochimilco
