Tacos were amazing with 3 different salsas on the side. Ordered a coctail which was amazing. Came back the next day for the same thing.

Great service and the tacos live up to the name! They are the best tacos we have had in Mexico city..the slice of pineapple on them surprisingly goes well with it! The burritos were also a good size and yummy. Reccommend!

Went to 4 different well reviewed taco places around the old historic part of Mexico City and then found this place by chance and gave it a shot. It was hands down my favourite out of all. The Pastor tacos were delicious and 3 for 44 pesos is a bargain. Plenty of tables, variety on the menu plus the service was excellent. Also they have a large selection of fruits and juices so looks good for breakfast too!

Best Al Pastor Tacos I have ever had. Went to Mexico City over Labor Day for tacos. Tried 6 different places that were recommended on various blogs and television programs. El Buen Taco was my hands down favorite! I almost missed out too. They close earlier than you might imagine, so this is not the after the bar taco stop. Make this dinner! Super affordable and delicious!

I was excited to go here since I saw it on Taco Chronicles on Netflix. Overall the service and food was good, but I ordered a birria taco and was never brought the consomé. Also, I don’t drink alcohol so when the server recommended a piña colada without alcohol I agreed. It was good (very sweet though if I’m being honest), but when I saw the bill I asked if it costs any less without alcohol and he said the alcohol is optional. I don’t get why a drink without alcohol would cost the same with alcohol, but that’s what they said. I was able to pay with credit card and add a tip that way.
Overall a fine place to sit down and eat, but I probably won’t be back. Instead of El Buen Taco or the Good Taco, I’d say it was The Okay Taco.
