OK but not great. Food is just ok. Many small restaurants in this same area have better street food than El Bajio. Prices are on the high end for street food. Higher prices for so so food is the reason for my review. I don't think I'm ever coming back. Desserts are very disappointing. DO NOT GET the flan.

Typical Mexican restaurant where I was even twice in one day. In the morning for a typical Mexican breakfast of great level and evening for an equally good dinner. Excellent staff and very positive service. Surely recommended

Food was ok. beef was not very flavorful. Service was good except no English speakers. Price was a reasonable. Can't be sure the salsa was served in a fresh container.

Nice Mexican restaurant.
You can taste authentic Mexican food.
The mole enchiladas are awesome.

From a tourist perspective, it is a great place to start: dishes are ok, family atmosphere, great decoration, not the best Mexican food I ever have, however decent. From a Mexican perspective, I think that the place is over rated: maybe when the business started it was a really good place, however overtime the quality has dropped and you can have really good Mexican taste by half price in other places.

The service was outstanding! This is a good option for trying traditional Mexican food. The price might be a little bit higher than you expected for traditional food and I hace to say it is worth it.

I will have to come back and try more of their dishes.
