I think this is the best vegan restaurant in CDMX! And trust me there are a lot of them. We ended up coming here 3 times because the food was so good. Tacos, enmoladas, flautas, everything we had was so flavourful and thoughtfully prepared! Seems like a family operation with the mother and daughter cooking and the father and brother serving. Very sweet service!

Really nice prices and service, but the food could have a bit more flavour. I had the burrito and it was BIG but needed something extra. But I think my standards in CDMX have gotten really high with the amount of great vegan food haha. It was still very tasty! (Also, I got to try the vegan pozole for the first time! It was great after some lime and saltu003c3!)

Delicious! Fresh ingredients, portions not too big, gluten free options, clean, nice casual atmosphere, and the waitress/hostess was very friendly and helpful as we had just arrived to Mexico City and she had suggestions for other vegan restaurants! Highly recommend even if you’re not vegan, You won’t miss the meat or dairy. Their vegan cheese was amazing!! We will return, hoping to try a few more items from the menu! Thank you for your hospitality.

OK food, affordable prices, I would have given this place a better rating, but unfortunately, I'm leaving this review because I had the worst service experience in all of Mexico at this restaurant. My family and I felt incredibly unwelcome eating here, even though we were the only ones there. I'm not trying to make assumptions, but during this time the world is really unsafe for people who look like us, so please keep in mind that we have reasons to be sensitive. I felt like I was given an attitude because I don't speak Spanish perfectly, but was able to order our food completely in Spanish. This is Mexico, so of course I don't expect anyone to speak English to us, we've been able to get around with my Spanish with no problem at all. However, there is a difference between expecting the staff to speak English and expecting the staff to have basic manners to cater to a potential international clientele (or anyone in general). During the meal, we felt like the service was so incredibly bad/non-existent and felt unwelcome even setting foot into the restaurant, so we decided to just tip 15% (minimum 10% in Mexico) in comparison to our usual 20+%. When I told the individual working there we wanted to add a tip, he/she (not going to indicate who was working there) simply nodded with zero expression of gratitude. Leaving the restaurant, we were not thanked a single time for coming to the restaurant. When I go to a sit down restaurant, I expect a small amount of kindness expressed for coming to the restaurant, maybe a smile, just as I always expressed thanks each time he/she brought out our food and drinks. The service individual actually gave a cold glare whenever I smiled. Imagine going to a restaurant and being treated like this. We would have rather stayed in our apartment and ordered delivery. Considering the nearby restaurant is five times more expensive, yet had way more people, I'm guessing people stopped coming here because of the poor service. It's unfortunate because I always create vegan lists for every city I travel to, and I simply had to remove this one after coming here.

Would you eat this? This is supposed to be enchiladas verdes con papa. And it taste like vomit. They also pack everything in too much plastic.

AWFUL! First, they completely ignored me for several minutes- luckily I was not in a hurry. I went once before for the Menu del dia, I didn't like the soup much and the salad wasn't good. But the enchiladas that day was good. So I went back again today intending to just get a ala carte- not menu del dia. I ordered Enchiladas de papas (potatoes) con mole sauce. It was disgusting. The potatoes were not cooked- almost still raw. Then the mole sauce was inedible. I asked if it really was mole sauce and the waiter said yes! It tasted like a bean puree. I took one bite and left the rest. They never asked what was wrong and he knew I didn't like the sauce. They still charged me full price- whatever- thats fine. Also, their orange juice is not fresh, natural orange juice. It served from the carton- very sugary. I live very close but I will never go back. I like to support vegan places but I can't with this DistritoVE. Skip this place- La Pitahaya is wayyyyyyy better and has much better service.

Great spot for vegan tacos! The chorizo is incredible - great texture, well seasoned, so so good.
