This is a local restaurant downtown México City. It is well located and if one is in the area this is a posible option to try "Yucateca" traditional cuisine. Meals are of quality and flavor. Perhaps, tableware (made ou of melamina) demerits dishes.
Atmosphere is OK, although inside of restaurant some maintenance is needed.
Restaurant is in 1st and 2nd floor. It also has enough parking (ground floor).

Restaurant has local live music as well as folklore dance from Yucatán.

Because this restaurant has long "tradition" and to keep it perhaps more maintenance and mainly in the restrooms is needed. This last situation is which I base this three star ranking. Something that was terrible: restrooms are not ok at all.

I bet with some little redecoration and a full restrooms renewal. This restaurant will improve lots.

While I cannot attest to the authenticity of the food here compared to that in the Yucatán, nor compare this to other places specializing in this kind of food, I can certainly attest to how tasty it was and to how much we enjoyed our experience here. While the sauce in which the Chamorro (pork shank) looked as if it would be incredibly rich and robustly flavored, it was a surprisingly mild taste. Never fear! The homemade salsas offered more than made up for that. Meanwhile, the Papadzules in pepino sauce were also surprisingly mild in flavor but made for an excellent contrast in flavor and color. The atmosphere was very much a locals only sort of place and, by getting there shortly after opening time, at 12:15, we were able to avoid the crowds. Service was accordingly somewhat more personal than we had been led to expect. Definitely recommended!

We had the Sopa de Lima, a Taco de Cochinita Pibil, a Papadzules and a coco-milk dessert which name I forgot. We also added the Agua de Horchata and Agua de Guanabana.

While the Taco was good and the Papadzules was absolutely amazing (though both were so heavy that we could eat only one each), the soup was a bit too sour for my taste. Nethertheless a really interesting flavour, that we didn't find anywhere else. The Aguas were horrible due to the loads of sugar added and the dessert quite blunt.

So if you're only coming for a classic quick lunch or dinner, that's a total recommendation. Sit on the terrace, in the back, where there are less people and the music is not very loud and you'll enjoy great food for affordable prices.

This is an excellent place where you can try really authentic food from Yucatán. The Chamorro en Pibil was amazing! The soap de Lima was also delicious. Prices are very affordable. This is a place you must try when you're visiting el Zócalo

Delicious food with a specialty in Pork. We had the tacos negra something. Basically it's pork taco with black sauce. Super delicious. We also had all their versions of pork taco. If you are in downtown, check it out. The plates are on the smaller side which is nice.

Great place. Delicious and unique second floor restaurant with huge windows, that make you feel you are dining on a large balcony or a patio. The food is great and delicious. Some specialties like Chamorro and pig foot (don’t remember the menu name) are to die for if you are a meat lover. Service is very good, polite, and attentive. Overall excellent experience!
