We have been living In 3 different countries for the past 9 years, never experienced anything as bad. We have a a top insurance but they “suddenly” only excepts credit card payment. Stayed for additional 5 hours because they did not let’s leave. No one speaks English except the doctors. However, doctors are very competent and reason for not one but two stars.

Really nice hospital and great service. I spent 4 days in the ER here and it was a very pleasurable experience given the circumstances. However, you will be paying for this service. Probably almost as much as you would in a US or Canadian Hospital but it's worth it. If you can, try to get your US/Canadian Insurance approval before coming. My insurance requires 24 hours notice or else they pay nothing. My insurnce gets negative 100 stars but I would give ABC Medical Center 10+ stars. The only thing that is kind of an issue is that medical records are not available online (except for labs and imaging studies). I had to make an extra trip to go back and pick up paper copies of the records. Not a huge deal but it's something that ABC should probably invest in at some point.

Excellent service, professional staff, candid people. Here you really feel you are treated as a first world patient - worth every penny.

Absurdly (like, for real) expensive for a very mediocre level of service. I went to the urgency center, and i found it very useless that on every stage (reception, triage, first and second doctor) they asked me the same questions. The doctor took more than half an hour to arrive. The receptionist has misinformed me and I did a very expensive (since I’m traveling abroad) call which wasn’t necessary at that moment. Also, several times there were several people coming in at a time, also unnecessary, certainly didn’t create a feeling of comfort. The room in which I was attended was small and the door was never closed.

I called them 3 times today to figure out the cost of an MRI - despite calling itself one of the ‘English Speaking’ hospitals, I was forwarded 5 times and finally put on a 20 minute hold each time... to find out one price. If you have anything important or urgent I highly recommend you ring Medical Sur instead.
