Beautiful location and dishes look beautiful picture worthy, but that’s it.
My experience
1: slow service, it was probably 1/4 occupied. Lots of waiters standing around playing on phone or talking with each other playing around, but took forever to make eye contact with any of the waiters to order. Finally ordered pancakes for us two to split and two enchilada plates. 20 minutes after ordering we got the pancakes ( more on those pancakes in a minute) only ate 1/4 pancake a few bites then waited and waited for our meal. Waitress though we had finished due to the long time we had been sitting there without touching the awful pancakes that she came and cleaned up! Removed silverware until I informed her that in fact we had still not received our meal.
2: Food quality, ordered orange juice and received the most watered down juice I have ever had! Water with a splash of juice, could have just told me that they are out of juice and I would have ordered something different.
Pancakes. Very very thick pancakes the driest pancakes I have ever had fell apart. Came with KARO syrup the cheapest syrup I have ever had. We both did not like the pancakes
The Swiss enchiladas where ok not cold
Kitchen was not busy and except for the pancakes, what we ordered is mostly precooked or if made to order ingredients are precooked and only need to be put together and warmed up. We had view of kitchen and could see crew and waiters chatting and using phones.

I will not be returning to this location for breakfast or brunch. Beautiful place, but sadly terrible service and low quality food!

We were confused when looking for it but realized the name was different then what was on Google. Nonetheless, great food and vibes. Would definitely visit again.

Honestly, it's really cute inside and very comfortable atmosphere! However, the service is slow and my plate was cold cold cold! My friend described the "green sauce" as chemical-tasting. The potatoes were kind of bland too. The juices are good, the coffee is good, but the food does not match the presentation.

We went there for breakfast. The place is beautiful, tucked away with lots of hanging plants. A good place to start the day. I’d give 5stars for the atmosphere. I took out one star because of the food. It wasn’t bad or anything it just felt that portions were a little small and not that filling.
We got the glazed pancetta and baby pancake. They have a lot of things on the menu though so you can probably find something better. The juices were sooo good. Really fresh and yummy. Side note: it looks like this place is called cancino now but it’s the same place you see on google maps as La Ventanita.

Got some enchiladas and chilaquiles and they both had good taste even if they could've been a bit spicier for my taste. Coffee was good and prices are adequate.

La Ventanita is a beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant that we visited after touring Casa Gilardi. It happens to be convenienly located a short walk around the corner and we tried a few dishes, got some drinks and had a beautiful afternoon. Atmosphericly, it's tranquil and inviting, with live plants hanging from the ceiling and design elements that are dialed in, you feel at peace in the space. The service is good and attentive, but they don't serve food until 12:30pm, so don't show up before and expect to be served lunch.
