They have to do something about their waiting system. We arrived at 9.45 and put our names down for a table and we didn't get seated until 11:15, after being told there was a 30-40 minute wait. It's so annoying when you see people arriving and reserving a table when half of their group haven't arrived yet, and then they get seated before you. Also you would think that a group of 2 would be seated fairly quickly, but it obviously wasn't the case. Additionally, we were told at one point that we were 10th in line, and we counted many more than 10 groups being seated before us.

I really wouldn't recommend going on the weekend for this reason.

The food was good and well priced, although the shakshuka portion was really small. The potatoes didn't taste great either. You should get the coffee with latte art for the novelty, too.

Its interior is charming, minimal, and cozy for a coffee date; however, if you are willing to have breakfast on weekends, I recommend you get there early to get a quick seat. My partner and I went on a Sunday morning, we arrived at 0900h and were given a table almost 50min later. There were two families with more than 5 members each, babies included, that decided to leave before being seated at separate tables.
Besides having to wait a considerable amount of time and their tight space, Café C's menu is okay. My partner ordered chilaquiles and I had a Montecristo sandwich, and after trying out meals we noticed that there was something missing: it lacked that spark that makes you fall in love with your food. In Mexico we call that 'sazón', which can be understood as that 'extra' the cook adds while preparing your meal. They can definitely add that extra to make the experience even better.
A must is their latte art, we ordered baby chicks and puppies for ours and they were exquisite, the foam was delicious and our coffees were on point.

Great place, food is awesome and the shapes they can do with foam are amazing! I got a baby Yoda and a stormtrooper!

went to try the shakshuka; this place is pretty busy so reservations recommended. i flew in solo at 8:30 with seating at the bar area on a sunday morning. the shakshuka was just ok; some more flavorful options are around. i might just try pancakes or a waffle or something on a subsequent visit. i am curious as to why the piglets cost more than kittens or puppies in your latte upgrade lol - but i got mine con gatitos. i think most tables were getting these lattes for fun and for their insta.

Most of the plates are big portion. Love the food and the relaxing environment. My friend and I had really good food and attentive service. I will definitely come again when I visit Mexico city next time. The outdoor sitting area is pet friendly!

Cool outdoor terrace. Cozy venue. The molletes were great, so was the pecan scone. They have these cute lattes with animal designs (piggies, cats, teddies...) which were really unique. Delicious coffee, different milks available. Overall, a nice place for breakfast or brunch in Del Valle neighborhood.

Delicious ????, the service is also great. It is usually crowded but the wait is worth. The price is fair and everyone made me feel in home.
