There are many cool wine bars in Mexico City, but Bacal is definitely my favorite in terms of quality and consistency!

The food is lit with plenty of gluten free options ???? they feature different chef residency on a weekly (?) basis so definitely follow them on IG to see what collaboration is coming up.

On non-residency days food is served buffet style.

Everyone is friendly and sweet here ???? the owner is warm u0026 attentive, and even remembers details from our first meeting, which makes the experience really welcoming ????

Great natural wine selection u0026 cocktails.

We dubbed this our “healthy wine bar” because the food feels guilt-free here ???? Mediterranean/Turkish influence, lots of vegetables.

Considering how good this place, it is still under the radar. We come here every time with high expectations and never get disappointed. Some of the best wine and meze selection in Mexico.

We stumbled upon this place looking for a morning Coffee and the owner Eric greeted us and gave us so much advice on places to eat and things to see on our first trip to CDMX. He was so kind we returned the next day to try his all you can eat brunch and WOW! Beautiful live music, the food was incredible, everything was fresh and balanced. Eric also has PERFECTED the Bloody Mary. The best one I’ve ever had by a mile, even if you don’t eat, you must come try the Bloody Mary and chat with Eric. I’d give it 50 stars if I could. A MUST GO!

Original dishes and inventive cocktails. The place is a bit out on a limb though

Incredible place. Probably the best cocktails I’ve had in CDMX. A+ hospitality. Just found this place in the neighborhood and will now be a regular.

My friend and I had high expectations after reading the reviews, however when we went here on a Wednesday for some cocktails and a bite to eat we were very disappointed. The staff was very uninterested and slow even though there were literally only two other customers. There was almost no food and what was there wasn’t very tasty. The cocktails were great but when we asked for another round they for some reason didn’t make them at all and when we came to pay the bill (after a long wait) they did want to charge us. Strange place.
