The hotel was just okay. Everything was very minimal as far as amenities and comfort is concerned. The room was very dark and the bed was hard as stone. There is no hair dryer and there’s no shelf in the shower to set your toiletries. They give you one roll of toilet paper and over the 3 days we stayed, we had to ask security for a roll twice. The sink in the bathroom is SO SMALL. It was hard to wash our hands without water going everywhere. Luckily there was a small kitchen area with a sink. Wifi was good and strong and security is great. We felt very safe. Overall it was a nice experience, but we won’t be staying here again.

Booked via airbnb and stayed here about a month ago. Fantastic property, great location, safe neighborhood and lots to do. The entry way is secure, each room gets its own number lock so no hassel of carrying keys. Nice coffee shops steps from the place. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying here. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. I fully recommend this and will be staying here on future visits to Mexico city. I feel like as a tourist if you find an honest business you should promote it if you can. This place was great!

We were content, liked our room that we booked for 10 days. Just as we finished unpacking the manager knocked on our door and said he had a better room for us, even though he told us that we had the best room in the hotel already. So we looked at it.

It was a better room for us because there was a desk for my husband and a huge outdoor deck. It was a quieter and more private location. The manager, Julio, said he wanted us to have this opportunity because a guest had canceled and we were there for 10 days. So, we packed up and switched rooms feeling lucky and blessed.

On the 5th day of our stay, my husband’s 73rd birthday, Julio called and said we had to switch rooms because there was a gas leak and it could only be repaired by accessing our room and deck. He granted us a grace period allowing us to stay two more nights.

We were both suspicious of this and on the appointed day I questioned and then argued with Julio about this and told him I felt he was being dishonest with us. He said he was not, that we were in danger, that walls had to be broken into, that he would do anything to make us happier. I asked him for financial compensation of some kind and he said he would present it to his boss for consideration.

That night there was a rooftop party and people introduced themselves to us. It turned out a frequent client had checked into his favorite room, the only one he ever stays in, the one with the large patio.

The room we were just evicted from!

I called Julio the next morning to ask about the compensation. He said it was under review. I asked if the room was repaired, he said no.

At that point I called him out for his dishonesty. He continued to lie. He said the guest was willing to take the room with no hot water, an option he did not offer us. I knew it was not true because I had met the guest in our room again that morning.

Julio lied to us continuously. Manipulated us and jerked used around. He would never own up to his lies. Nor did we receive any compensation or apology.

It’s a shame that a manager would treat any guest, especially seniors with such disrespect.

The lack of integrity in his actions and intentions is inexcusable for many reasons.

I have never in all the decades of traveling been treated so poorly by the representative of a hotel before.

I will go to the owners over this.

I hope no one else is treated this way.

Don’t risk the same treatment. Choose another hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great neighborhood. Rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly and Mario the manager was kind and extremely helpful! The hotel has nice bikes to sign out free of charge. We will come back any time.

Love this place! Great price! Great location! Right in the heart of Condesa! Walking distance to everything...especially Amsterdam Street! ❤️

Amenities are simple yet perfect. Space is very tranquil and inviting, especially the floor to ceiling windows in the rooms! Starbucks on premise doesn’t hurt. ???? The staff was warm and helpful with all of my needs, to include washing my clothes! ????

Will always look forward to coming back!

P.S. Large size body lotion bottle a super plus! ????

Security is loud and obnoxious. Stepped out on the 2nd floor of the foyer above Starbucks to take an important call only to have security literally scream at me to clear the area like I was literally murdering someone from the ground level to the second floor. Almost gave me a heart attack, so ghetto. If you care about maintaining a comfortable space for guests, what makes you think screaming and shouting at folks is going to help maintain that? I get the prestige of the establishment but maybe invest in less problematic or obnoxious security/training? Thanks.

Quiet, comfortable, modern, nice bathroom u0026 good water pressure. Room was large and had a king sized bed and a spacious sitting area . Loved the floor to ceiling windows. Our room had 2 air conditioners. Walking distance to restaurants u0026 stores in Condesa. The front desk people were friendly but their English was limited -if you are looking for a concierge service this may not be the place for you. Bottled water provided daily. Considering the price of the room this was a great option.
