Tacos Ne is a cute, family operated food cart located at the beginning of the Paseo de Montejo close to Calle 49 in an open parking area.

They serve cheap and tasty tacos and a few other offerings on the menu. This was the best vegan meal I had in Merida and some of the best vegan tacos I had in all the Yucatan!! The tacos were all soy based and cooked with different spices for the flavour. I tried the Alux, Chechon and Arrachera varieties and they were so delicious and satisfying!! There were various toppings like onions, cilantro, lime and tomatoes to add to the tacos and different salsas and sauces. The tacos were only 15 pesos each! Such a good deal.

The staff were so friendly, welcoming and gracious and spoke fantastic English! Seating was at a few plastic tables around the food cart. This place is unfortunately only open during the evenings on weekends. I would have eaten here every day if I could have! Would 100% recommend.

We loved the tacos here! We ordered two of each kind plus quesadillas. My favourite was the vegan chicharron filling. For toppings, there were two kinds of salsa available, along with cilantro, onions and limes. It was very busy when we went (the first Saturday night they've been open since the spring!), but the staff was super friendly and attentive while handling all of the orders. We loved that it is a family run truck in a corner off the main street with a few tables and chairs for seating. We also liked the music and the horchata. It was our favourite meal in Merida!

This cute little food truck gets 5 stars for offering vegan food that is very tasty and cheap and conveniently-enough located in the central part of Merida. From a health perspective, it is not as ideal if one is eating a whole food plant-based diet, as opposed to just a vegan diet, as most of the main taco or quesadilla fillings use either refined wheat (seitan) or refined soy (TVP) and even the tapioca filling is unrecognizable as to what one is actually eating (thank goodness one can trust it is all vegan!). Also, I wish the tortillas were just warmed up to soften on their own, without heating them with added oil. However, the toppings (salsas) are fresh and provide a good variety of ingredients to enjoy additional veggie flavors and textures, and can make the meal as spicy as one likes. The desserts are also outstanding in flavor, portion, and satisfaction. The service is quick and credit cards are accepted. So overall, it is a nice treat and great vegan option.

Best Taco's I have ever had. My non Vegan friends had their minds blown the "pork" crackling was crazy good. If you come to Merida you must eat here.

What an amazing little place. They have a great variety of vegan tacos, toppings and flavors! Plus, it is very inexpensive. I'm so happy to have found this place.

What a gem! Lovely people serving delicious Tacos. I wish I could have eaten more. Just order all 4 types of Tacos, eat and repeat!
