The service was good and the atmosphere is unique. There was also some live folk music. The prices are medium, not too high, but the cuisine is not totally authentic. Most of the pasta dishes were quite good, but the ravioli was obviously frozen, not fresh, and low quality. I don't recommend the ravioli. I do recommend the pasta salmone with fettuccine.

Food is great, prices are fair, the place is nice and cozy, and the attention from the waiters is good, sometimes it takes a while for them to pass by your table but doesn't happen that often. Totally worth it, careful on the weekends because sometimes it's full.

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant! I was sceptical eating at an Italian restaurant in Mexico as I frequent the Italian Hill neighborhood in St. Louis, Mo. USA..and have visited Italy a few times. To my surprise, this food was AMAZING and authentic. Franco the owner/chef is from Italy. He offers a wonderful, full menu. One of my favorites is the seafood ravioli. Yum! Franco adds a DELICIOUS Mexican twist of a sauce on the table called Chimichurri that can be drizzled on bread or on any of your favorite dishes that is OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious! Friendly, WARM atmosphere. Franco and his son Gianluca come out to greet their guests, which I love. A very homey, WARM, clean delicious restaurant. Each time I visit Leon...I MUST return to the Trattoria de Franco to savor and enjoy. You won't be disappointed in this one.

The one and only when it comes to Italian food. Simple, humble, secret in some sort of way. Impossible to miss it. A total must-go in the city. Pizzas are insanely good. Minestrone is the best one in town and the Miso de Fungi, omg! Out of the charts!
