Great coffee. Its difficult to find good coffee in Leon. But the espresso at Ameno Cafe is quite good. And the only cafe I've found in Leon that serves Cortdado's. In addition, the food is very good as well. I had a salad which was very fresh and yummy. Highly recommended.

Even though the food selection is not very wide, the coffee and its preparation are the focus here.

The place is small, probably better for small groups. The service, quick; plates are not hugely served but adequate.

During my visit I was offered with a single choice of coffee bean: a washed Guerrero on a darker roast. Asked for Chemex. It did not disappoint.

There are probably better places out there in the world, but this was an excellent experience for the León area, and an up and coming place for good breakfast and great coffee.
