Friendly staff but not very knowledgeable. They struggled to give some dinner recommendations around the area.
The hotel is a little dated, but good location. Walking distance to downtown, restaurants. It's a little scary to walk late at night because there's barely anyone on the street.
Rooms are comfortable, maybe new bed sheets and bed covers would improve a lot the small room. Cleanliness was just ok. Can be improved. Price was reasonable too.
I would return to the hotel again.

This place was horrible, A front desk girl had the worse attitude, i was stayed there for 7 days, wifi didnt work, was never given the suites i reserved and payed for, i was never given the free breakfast and on the 5th day i reserved anothrr suites i had payed for it online because i had a basic small room and after i told them i had payed for it and showed them the confirmation number they still made me stay in my same small room, they didnt change me to another room. They told me i had to stay there. The next day they took me to the suites. But i still had to pay the same amount for that day. As i did the day before. And just yesterday i was touched and grabbed by a worker there (he was wearing a pink button up shirt u0026 black pants u0026 a black mask)when i tried to tip him him bc he was helping me get to my room after i got lost. My husband told another worker about it and the worker said that the owner was gone and that he was gonna let him know so that tomorrow morning he would speak to me and have me tell them what happened. I was never talked to. The owner never came and spoke to me. And a report wasnt made. I just left today u0026 I will definitely be going to higher ups and report this hotel if i am not contacted by the owner and if a report is not made. I am furious and it is sickening.

Unique. The building is said to be one of the oldest business buildings in the city. Service was attentive. Accommodations were comfortable, clean and secure. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet that looked wonderful; unfortunately, I was not hungry so didn't partake.

This is an older facility. It looks a little dated, bit that's not bad in my book. It really does feel like an historic place! If you want shiny and new, go pay three or four times the amount for a place to sleep. The price, the facilities and service and level of comfort make this a great choice. Next time, I'll be back with my wife.

The staff was wonderful! Very helpful, friendly, always someone available to help out. I loved the old tree in the hotel and the memorabilia from the early days of the hotel. It was no problem at all to park in the parking lot, there's 24 hr staff and the lot staff was as helpful as the hotel staff. Our room was clean and comfortable, the food served in the restaurant was well priced and good food. We had a kitten with us and she was welcomed to the hotel and enjoyed by the staff. :-) I highly recomend this hotel!

People are nice but the place is a dump, looks nothing like a picture on Expedia and smells like chlorine everywhere, the loby bathroom has all the fixtures so old, hard to wash your hands and stinks. Was a nice building at one point but now is a relic and surrounded by boarded-up ruins and a horrible parking lot across the street. Lady up front was nice, but we left in discussed for the place as my wife has asthma and could not be there with all the chlorine stink. Too bad, we were hoping to like it.

WiFi service is terrible the network gets saturated quickly and you can’t use it, there is lots of noise from people getting in and out of the hotel, staff is good the price is great. An hotel with lots of history is worth to visit once.

Great place, loved museum style and all of the history presented from it's 100+ years of operation. The rooms could use work, ac sometimes broken, wifi not reliable. But apart from that, great hotel.
