Catedral Hermosillo

I visited the Hermosillo Cathedral on a hot afternoon. It is located in the middle of a beautiful square. There were some vendors selling things, but I imagine the area comes alive in the evenings when it is not so hot. The cathedral was supposed to open at 4pm, but it was not open when I arrived. I would suggest coming later in the evening around when there is a church service if you would like to see the inside. It is a great place for a photo op in the historical center.

Peaceful, hot and beautiful place.
I went on Sunday. Even they had mass in the church, they let me see inside.

Beautiful church. You should definitely visit when you come to Hermosillo.

Great place to come to on weekend to walk around. Lots of food stands, decorated for Christmas. Good family fun.

Its really a nice and calm place to visit. Parking is little difficult, you have to park on the road. Car washing people usually block the parking spots and you have to pay them for cleaning your car.

We loved visiting this cathedral. Some greeters spoke English. They were very friendly and welcoming and the mass was beautiful. There is also a great park in front.

Absolutely beautiful area a must see if you're in Hermosillo. The vendors are very accommodating and have interesting items for the kids. Good food vendors as well. Recommend on a Friday or Saturday night.
