I’ve tried a few ramen restaurants in Guadalajara, and Uma Uma is definitely the most authentic of the all.

A tiny cafe/restaurant but the menu is very extensive. The portions are big and great value for money. It was quite busy when I visited but only waited 10 minutes and service was efficient.

I would highly recommend Uma Uma over some fancier looking Japanese restaurants for the authentic flavours, portions and value for money.

Great ramen in gld , they have a really nice variety of dishes both vegan and non vegan. Loved the vibes of this place

Very good ramen, they are big and tasty and if you dont finish it you can take it home to finish it later. They also have sushi that are pretty good and it is a well known place if you want to eat japanese are if you want to relax, the small room make you feel an intimacy and the decoration take you to japan with the colors and the japanese cats !

Everything we had was fabulous. Two appetizers, the Japanese curry, all great. I had two cocktails and the Okinawa Passion (or something like that) was delicious. Best mochi ice cream dessert ever! We will be making this place a regular stop every time we are in Guadalajara!

Wow. Whoever made this place has clearly lived in Japan and knows his or her stuff. It's the most authentic place I've found in the city so far, in terms of Japanese pub style izakaya fare. They have hard to find drinks like Orion beer and good shochu, and a pretty legitimate okonomiyaki. I'll be back.

Kakuni ramen was so good, must try if you like pork belly.

Small, cozy and authentic Japanese style. Really good Ramen too. Tan tan men is a favourite for spice lovers
