When in Guadalajara you have to try the local delicacy of tortas ahogadas. And this place was a great hole in the wall/street cart place to try them.

Go. Order a taco de frijol or papa destruido con carnitas and a mini torta ahogada. With everything medium spicy.

Not only are these the best I have ever had - they are almost a different food given how good they are.

Can’t understate the experience or how damn good it was!!!

This is what you have to find talking about local foods, 40 years of service well deserved, great taste, absolutely I'd come back from California and the Baja.

First time visitor and this was very enjoyable. I had the shrimp and a salad and very tasty. Yummy shrimp sauce. Staff is friendly. Highly reccomend.

The secret is in the crisp, fresh bread that holds the wonderful meat, sauce, onions, and cilantro all together. Currently 40 for a tortas and 30 for "mini" tortas
