Lovely dining experience.
The food is superb we did the 12 course tasting menu with wine pairing.
And for what we had it was tremendous value for money.
They also do 6 and 8 course options for anyone not looking for quite as much food or not spending so much.
The Staff are Lovely too, really friendly and talked us through everything with knowledge and genuine enthusiasm.

I have just finished one of the most delightful dinners I have had in over a year. That includes stints at Central, Maido and Pujol [for you die hard foodies]. What comes from the kitchen here is beautiful and artistic.The flavors are bold, compelling and inventive. Its hard to pick a favorite - The Ensalada de Hojas, the Chef Darren's take on Chiles en Nogada [I won't ruin the surprise but its playful and stunning] or the fabulous rift on Lechon [which was moist, flavorful and not greasy]. The chef is a genius. Clara, the powerhouse who brings this all together, and her hospitality team are amazing and have made a special place they should feel proud of. I have spent the last year eating at well over half of the 2018 Best Restaurants in Latin America and it is a travesty Lula is not even mentioned on that list. That needs to change in 2019.

The food is one of a kind. Such an amazing display of artistic flair combined with the very profound knowledge of the chemistry of the ingredients. The costs are reasonable for the quality of the food. The interior could use some upgrades, the atmosphere is bland, in start contrast to the culinary experience. The service was adequate. This is a highly recommended experience for anyone looking for a world class gastronomic experience.

Exceptional culinary experience. The menu consists of three options; a six course, eight course and a twelve course fixed prix menu. The twelve course is a combination of the first two; which are completely different from each other. You can also have each one with wine pairings. I had the six and my husband had the eight. The main course has a selection from two options. Definitely worth experiencing for a special celebration! The dining ambience is very pleasant.

We had a reservation at 9:30 and did not get our first plate until 10:30. That should tell you something. The excuse was that because some people had not finished their dinner the prep for our dinner was not ready. Joke! The food experience was average at best. Being objective, the food was muddied by the sauce. The fish dishes were overly acidic. The steak tartare was the best dish, a combination of sweet and salty. The duck mole was chewy and the sauce was overpowered by the orange. You can't really call that a mole. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience with no value added.
