Taste: mostly savory, at times too strong salty/acidic
Value: excellent for the price; back in the States this would be at least double especially with the attentive service; never did I have to worry about refill of water and questions of how I was doing (granted, it was a slow night, but I felt well taken care of)
Negroni was good and decently priced; spring set menu was overall good, given the price. Charcuterie looked sparse but is satisfying. Burrata with mushroom ensemble was the star of the show with wonderful flavor and high quality cheese paired with warm bread. The carrot pasta was a pleasant surprise with tart carrot slightly pickled to contrast the rich mini "raviolis." Fish was mediocre (missed opportunity for crisp skin) and while I was excited to see zucchini flowers, the stuffed one with shrimp was way too salty even with the cream sauce tempering it. The lemon tort was wildly sour without drowning it in the cream. Restaurant threw in the cookie/chocolate trio on the house, a gesture well appreciated but nothing too surprising however gorgeous. Probably would come here for special occasions with friends to try more dishes.
