Another great traditional cantina in the heart of downtown Guadalajara. It was quieter than most others that I have been to. It was earlier in the night and right after work 7-9pm. These types of places get louder as the night goes on. As per any other cantina, cheap beer and your typical offerings of snacks. They served up chips and salsa along with some other nibblers.

This well established cantina is definitely worth a visit. Try the nalgas alegrias for something special.

This place was for a long time the favourite place of Chivas (the football team) and if you are a fan, you have to go there to get a glimpse of their very rich history. The staff also have incredible stories to tell, if your spanish is up to par.

Prices are pretty standard, and note that you will be served various botanas (snacks) free of charge.

Since 1920 one of the best cantinas in Guadalajara, they have some very good mezcal too.

Amazing place. Ask for a drink called nalgas alegres. Speciality of the house. It is very quiet during the evening.

If you want a traditional Mexican "Cantina" and near to Chapultepec this is the place
