Great barbacoa (lamb). Pit cooked over night. Served as tacos or by the pound. Lean, savory lamb. Family owned with 50 years of serving one of the best barbacoa in Guadalajara.
Plenty seating with small play area for kids in back. First come seating. Visit early or you might miss out on great food. Also quesadillas and consomme. Fantastic. Agua fresca, sodas and coffee. Enjoy.

Great place to eat lamb stuff!! It's a family place with 42 years of tradition and you can see that. The service was nice and fast, the prices reasonable and the food great. We had quesadilla, caldo, lamb tacos and green sopes. It was crowded on a Sunday morning. Only complaint is that they serve the jericalla on plastic bowl and it doesn't taste the same. Will definitely come back!

I'm mostly vegetarian and the sopes de frijol and consomé was delicious. The gentleman that served was very patient, kind, and attentive (which I don't find often here). I would recommend this place to anyone that wants great food AND great service. Tip them well!
