I have only amazing things to say. Great hospitality, kind people, great conversation. This space is lovely and I would recommend it to anyone. Would give 6 stars if I could because of the amazing hosts.

One of the sweetest hostel experiences I've ever had! What makes the place so great are the owners who make an effort to include anyone into their gettogethers. I've had lovely nights with mostly (or rather only) Mexicans, who really made an effort to understand what I was trying to put together using my broken Spanish. They were very generous and understanding. After I got sick unexpectedly, the owner also took care of me (tea, food, medicine). Would recommend! Great to get away from all the very touristy hostels for a bit.

This place is a must stay! It has a wonderful location next to world class food establishments. The owners, Victor and Uncle Charlie are incredible! The best coffee in the morning, great conversations and at night there is a fun bar outside with the best ambiance!! Highly recommended

I have traveled all over Mexico and this is an outstanding hostal. Location is super.. Víctor and Tío Charly are the best at taking care of all your needs. Beds are great. Nice kitchen and patio to relax. Like home here... If I were the owner I would charge more... Great prices! Thanks for all the memories Victor y Charly!

Estoy muy satisfecho con mi estadía en La casa de Garcés. Me sentí como en casa. El lugar cuenta con todo lo necesario para que uno no tenga ni un problema en general. Su cocina muy bien equipada, los baños son amplios así que nunca se batalla para hacer tus necesidades o para tomar un baño caliente a la hora que sea. El área común principal es muy acogedor y elegante. Cuenta con un patio trasero que te lleva totalmente de una ciudad a sentirte como si estuvieras en el rancho de la abuelita. Cuenta con un enorme guallabo (80 años) que impone paz y calma para que te olvides de todos tus problemas y te liberes de ese estrés!!
