Hip vegan restaurant with an abundant selection of food and drink. Convenient location and hours, so we came here FOUR times during our stay in Guadalajara to keep eating their delicious food. My favorites were the flor de calabaza taco, primavera burrito, peanut butter waffle, mocha, and strawberry agua fresca. Lots of seating and good for groups.

It is the most flavorful and thoughtful menu. We as a family with kids enjoyed every food that we ordered and ate. Not a dish I can comment negative, all what we eat was awesome. It's a little expensive but quality equal cost so i dont mind paying an extra for good food.

A good vegan spot with a very wide selection of types of food. Shakshuka was extra salty and they gave us another one which is good. Some interesting donuts and desserts.

Very clean and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. The sandwich I had was excellent, and it came with a magnificent salad. I appreciated that the bread was whole grain. And the people working the counter are super nice too.
Update: This place opens early (8:00 AM daily and 9:00 AM Sundays), and I'm convinced it's one of the world's finest vegan breakfast spots. In particular I recommend the molletes (which are served on whole grain bread.) You can get a big glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice for just 25 pesos. Plus, their outdoor tables are perfect to dodge risks during the pandemic. The owners obviously care immensely about serving only fresh, high-quality, vegan food and you can have a very nice breakfast here for under 100 pesos.

Excellent food with great presentation and favour at a good price. Went for breakfast and was lovely relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend the juices.

The place looks nice, it s pretty comfortable and very centred. But unfortunately cleanliness standards are not satisfying.
More work could be done on presentation/care and flavour of the food. Service could be improved (takes long to give menus when you sit down and no one said bye.

Hands-down the best place to eat in GDL. I got food from here almost every day for half a year because it is so delicious hearty and wholesome, like a homecooked meal (except the home cook is actually a professional chef). I've tried almost everything on the menu with the exception of some tacos because I prefer street tacos. From the menu I recommend tamales de rajas, chilaquiles divorciados, sándwich americano, and burrito tex-mex. But really, there is no going wrong with anything from Choclo y Maíz. From their bowls to their sandwiches to their waffles to their jugos and smoothies, everything is mouthwateringly delicious. My non-vegan friends could not believe how good everything tasted. I tried lots of other vegan food in Guadalajara and other partes of Jalisco, but nothing beats Choclo y Maíz. They also have vegansitos for sale in the cooler :)
