Decent birria, relatively small portions. I like the hand made tortillas. But I prefer pepe el torito nearby (no hand made tortillas though).

If you are looking for a little taste of Jalisco then look no further. Birrieria La Victoria is typical of the Guadalajara style of birria, but better than most. They have been serving birria out of this location for generations and have a strong local following. The place has a retro vibe and is decorated with pictures old school Guadalajara, with a touch of the Chivas Soccer team

The order comes in a bowl with broth or you can order by the taco. The specialty is the goat birria. If you like a lean cut get a maciza, if you like something closer to the bone you can get costilla ot peinecillo. If you like liver try the machito.

This place is a jem. A Guadalajara classic you have to try!!
