I never met any friendlier hotel staff before. They were so kind to me. I was traveling alone the first days before my partner arrived. And they made sure that I felt as safe and comfortable as possible. Even when I had a bad day (caused by migraine) they made sure I got a even more quite room than the room that I had before, without charging me more. They helped me find a covid test station and even walked with me there to make sure that I got the correct price of the test, since I don’t speak any Spanish. One of the days I had the pool to myself and that was so nice. I have to say, I’m blown away be the kindness of this hotel and their staff, I would highly recommend it! I felt safe as a woman walking around in the neighborhood, going to cafes and restaurants. There is also a small supermarket (Oxxo) just walking distance from the hotel. Go and visit this hotel if you’re looking for a nice and quite stay in Guadalajara. There is a construction site around the hotel but you didn’t hear that much it in your room and the construction stops in the evening around 6PM.

Rooms are very nice. Includes TV, AC, and single serve coffee machine. Hot showers but less than desirable water pressure. Bath robes and safe provided. Our room had a nice balcony facing the street. Parking is limited. Stairs to the front entrance. Wheelchair accessible entrance available upon request (open garage doors). Nice patio in the middle and pool too.

Great experience! Excellent customer service, people is so polite. Price is great and the hotel feels very safe and they are following all the Covid 19 precautions.

I have mixed feelings about my stay at Ablorata Hotel. For starters, I booked the reservation on Airbnb. When we arrived to the hotel, they couldn't find our reservation and I was scared that I paid a scammer for a room. They ended up saying they would look into it; we were checking in around 6:00 pm, and they said they had to prepare a room and it would take 30 minutes. We found this odd because one would think by 6:00 pm all of the rooms would have been cleaned.

When we went to the room we were missing pillow cases on the pillows and hand soap in the bathroom. We informed the person at the front desk and we never received these things. After housekeeping came the following two days, we received our pillow cases, but didn't receive bath towels (twice) and never received hand soap for the bathroom.

The pool is very small and pretty dirty, and it doesn't appear like a lot of guests use it (we did, but we didn't stay in very long). Our reservation came with breakfast, which was decent, but nothing spectacular. The hotel itself was very nicely decorated and the room had some nice technology like a smart TV, electronic curtains and a modern/convenient air conditioner. The staff were always friendly and the hotel is located in a great area. Our first night we found an amazing restaurant nearby, and then wandered onto Chapultepec, which is fun and convenient. I would recommend this hotel, but I would not recommend booking it on Airbnb.

The Aborata overcharged me for my stay there last month! I was charged more than what was originally agreed to and then they wouldn't honor our agreement to waive my first night stay. My flight was delayed and I wasn't able to make the first night, I gave them a call and they said they would NOT charge me for the first night stay due to the delay, but THEY DID and would not honor our agreement. So not only was I overcharged, I was charged the night I did NOT stay there. The stay was less than desirable, the toilet would not flush, no ice machines, no cable, and no iron! How can I enjoy a vacation when the basic function of a toilet flush is not met?!... and I'm being overcharged!! Never Again!!

Nice hotel and pool. Internet was not working the night we stayed but I didn't alert management.
