This place brings back so many memories. I have seen live performers singing their hearts out. All kinds of street foods and vendors from delicacies to traditional decor. The play area is big enough for kids to have fun on especially the swings. Used to dig around in the sand and find coins and knick knacks. Must always have supervision their for your children since this place can draw big crowds.

Nicely kept plaza...with sufficient shaded benches and various activities. Music is often offered, specially on holidays and weekends. Great place to people watch and family visits. One of few public parks that IS green and kept up...although the trash containers are overfilled and not too sightly...but then again the number of people from all walks of life is often too large for the one city block it occupies. Parking can be límited at peek hours.

Great place to visit on the weekends when it is more lively and there are more people selling corn on the cob and snacks. Sometimes there is also live music. The stationery stands sell great "tortas" and nachos. Usually on the weekdays its less crowded, a perfect time to go for a walk in the park with that special someone and enjoy a picnic. Make sure you take some spare change just in case you need to use the restrooms and take your own toilet paper. The lady at the restroom will provide you with some toilet paper after you pay but it may not always be enough.

Go on a Sunday. Lot's of family fun! Face painting for kids, arts and crafts, live entertainment. Dancing, Great local street food. Centrally located, Something for everyone. Shopping, good restaurants all within walking distance. Inexpensive amusement - Free! A must visit tourist destination.

If you are looking to see how locals interact. Snacks, classic tortas del parque to taste.
This is a very Mexican, very local place. On Sundays and holidays you can listen to locals compete in an impromptu aficionados singing contest.

It's a large park in the center of Ensenada. It is quite beautiful but, there are allot of people begging for money, and after the sun goes down it is not a very safe place to be at. During the day you can enjoy live music, kids playing on the swings or the playground. I highly recommend the Tortas sold in the little snack shack's in the middle of the park, they are very delicious and very cheap. I highly recommend the (Torta Asada Especial) it is a huge Torta with beef, ham, cheese, chili, lettuce, tomatoes and onions, toped of with some mayonnaise and a home sauce. All for the low price of $45 pesos Wich is like $2.75USD. also there sometimes a guy going around the park selling "Raspado" ir "Shaved-Ice" he Is very clean and respectful. On the weekends there is always dancing and some kind of event for the elderly that anyone can join in. Laughter and dancing fill the park during the nice crisp sun. Bathrooms are also available and they are very clean as a matter of fact. And only cost $5pesos or $.50C, USD.
