Beautiful landscapes and scenery. However there are many broken beer glasses , beer cans and garbage. It is very sad that people don’t pay respect to nature.

This is the trailhead entry for Punta Barva. Look for a building marked “Campo 5”. 80 pesos to park. There is a bathroom at the parking lot. The trail is easy to follow but note there is a large number of cactus is area so boots and long pants are pretty strongly recommended. I saw dogs on the trail so it could be dog friendly. There is no shade at all. Throughout the entire hike absolutely amazing views. There is a few points where hands will be needed to scramble up rocks. The trail goes for over a mile and eventually will run into a fence with a sign saying private property. Some people appear to have gone through anyway

One of our favorite places for landscape photography workshops. The trail is advance and if you are afraid of heights not a good hike for you.

Mexico is a very beautiful and friendly place to visit. There are a lot of beautiful landscape everywhere take some time to visit and enjoy them. Recommended.
