Our experience was a nightmare. First we ordered a dozen oysters. When they arrived we noticed that the shells were very large but the oysters were tiny. They had used old shells and placed some oysters they had soaking in water probably for cocktails completely flavorless on them. We ate them anyway (Big mistake) putting plenty of lime and Tabasco on them trying to flavor them. I ordered Shrimp Diabla style. This means that the sauce should be very spicy and hot. The first thing I tasted was sweetness. It was sweet with a bit of spice as an after taste. The shrimp were nice and plentiful but they were definitely not what they advertised on the menu. My wife had a whole fried fish. For Ensenada standard it was a very small fish. She left still filling hungry but with a bit of an upset stomach. Within 30 minutes she was running for the bathroom and had diarrhea for 2 days. She believes one of the oysters had a funny consistency and may have been bad.
Needless to say we will never go back and recommend others to stay away.

Make sure you ask for the real menu or scan the QR code for digital menu

I visited this restaurant during a tour on Oct 28.2022. They provided a menu with prices in dollars. I noticed the high prices and just order drinks and had my “complimentary” snack plate promised by the tour guide. When i scanned the QR code they had in the napkin dispenser I saw the prices in Mexican pesos. The real price was about half the price from the dollar version. My wife and I confronted the manager and his only response was that they change the prices due to an agreement with the tour agency. This place will take advantage of you if they notice you’re a tourist.

Este sucursal no se queda atrás. Buen trato de parte de los meseros, son muy atentos. Buen ambiente y la comida está muy rica. Está ubicada frente al mar en frente del malecón de Ensenada.
