This is a super high quality and legitimate restaurant not too fancy on appearance because they care more about legitimate quality and customer care vs marketing (which is exactly what I look for). I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants a real deal ultra fresh and quality seafood experience. Their stuff does not come from mercado negro it comes from better than that. I had amazing abalone and local catch sea-bass-like dish. See photos for location because it’s not easy to locate (as most legit places usually are). My food and service was truly amazing.

Decent service. The food was really good and very fresh. They were also very accommodating letting us bring dessert from the ice cream place across from them.
The oysters were very fresh and they had a variety of sauces to go with them.
Both ceviches were good. Loved the Persian spin on the white fish and a classic take but with octopus, clams, and fish.
Their spaghetti with abalone was great. Really simple pasta with butter but the abalone gives it that extra flavor that takes it from simply good to great.

When you remember a delicious meal from a few years ago you wonder if it was the food, or the ambiance, or the great day that you had with friends that made everything so excellent.

When you return to that restaurant with high expectations, you sometimes doubt your memories.

I can say without a doubt that I wasn't deceiving myself. La Concheria has the best seafood I've ever had in my life. Everything is fresh, full of flavor and presented perfectly with amazing service. I don't know how often the Michelin reviewers make it to this part of Ensenada, but if they haven't been yet, they're in for a wonderful treat.

La Concheria will remain a staple for every time we visit the city, we still talk about the steamed muscles and ceviche almost a week later.

I’ve had a lot of seafood dishes in my life. And the meal I had here was one of the best in my life.

We started with the yellowtail sashimi which was the perfect texture. Then I enjoyed the seared tuna with salad and it was absolute perfection! Amazing flavors, textures, all in an unpretentious environment with very reasonable prices.

I highly recommend that you eat here!

This is one of the best, if not the best, meals of my life. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food and drink is all locally sourced as well as cooked and flavored to perfection. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate.The chef is humble and executed every dish perfectly. We left full and satisfied but not bloated. This will be a staple stop any time I visit Ensenada and I cannot wait until my next experience here.

They are great but service could be better. Not sure if I was unlucky or what, but one of the waiters was kinda moody. I asked for the menu twice, and he took it twice from our table without even asking if we wanted something else. We got the impression as he wanted us to leave and definitely didn't enjoy the food as we wanted to. Other people from the staff was great, and food was very tasty. I arrived around at 16PM and didn't find mejillones nor clam. Be early if you wanna try the good stuff!
