Secure parking under guard 24/7. Private pool. Friendly and attentive staff. Shares a block with several nice and new cafes and restaurants. The calmer end of the tourist zone, away from the chaos of the party zone but close enough to walk to everything. Beds were extremely firm.

This is a grate hotel I love it and always come to this hotel I have bin coming here since I was a little baby my whole family loves it

Very safe and walkable area. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that is available 24/7. Beautiful and clean facilities- from the heated pool, to the rooms itself. The parking is covered and has a security guard at all times! I will say bring earplugs because sound carries in the hallways, but overall I will definitely be returning to the Hotel Cortez!

No frills check-in area. The check-in staff was present and quickly checked us in and gave us detailed instructions on finding our room.
We opted out of daily housekeeping. I just don't like people going inside our room, especially if there is no safe where we can store our price belonging. We opted to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The food was tasty and the variety was very appreciated. The breakfast is buffet style and they had quite a lot of selection. Everything on the menu was delicious, the temp of the food was spot-on, and the service by the staff was top notch. The only negativity to our stay was that I noticed in our room, there is a large wall that seems like the previous guess had partied hard, and there seems to be a film of grime or something sticky on the wall. I could have opted to call housekeeping and have them clean this but I just didn't touch it and didn't bother with housekeeping. The location of the hotel is perfect, within walking distance of the touristy street but far enough from the nightly party so you won't be disturbed at night with the music and loud crowds. They also have two guarded parking lots, although I would appreciate an electric car charger or Tesla charger for guess with electric cars.

Centric and pleasant. Rooms are a good size and on the main strip of Ensenada. Can get to pretty much anything from here.

Nice and very clean hotel, excellent services. Underground parking. Pool on site for kids and parents.
Tasteful Mexican style breakfast and buffet on weekends.
Location is closed enough to most of the bars and restaurants, fish markets and waterfront boardwalk.

1. Parking lot is mostly covered and there is a guy checking you in when you drive up
2. Lobby is nice and the pool too. Pool is kinda small and has kids in it.
3. Check in took about 30 minutes as we checked in around 3:30pm. There were many other people also checking in.
4. Bell boy was good and gave us all the info we needed about the hotel. Hotel restaurant is good but check out a local spot called El Barbajon. You will need a taxi to take you. The hotel is walking distance to bars, restaurants shops, breweries, and strip clubs. Go to the Paris strip club as the rest are lame.
5. Standard room was average but the price was right.
